Workshop delivered by Helen Farrell at UCC Tyndall National Institute

In October 2022 Dr Helen Farrell delivered a drawing workshop that focused on drawing methodologies and
observational drawing exercises to Tyndall Early Career Researchers’ Network (TEC-Net).
This Tyndall based network provides support and advice to early-career researchers and due to the success
of this initial workshop, and interest from others to participate, TEC-Net are in the process of organising
future workshops for staff and students.
This type of initiative, developed by Drawbridge and Tyndall, aims to open up dialogue about contemporary
drawing practice, the aspects of scientific research it can contribute to, and how drawing can encourage
researchers discover new ways to communicate and collaborate.
