AREAS OF EXPERTISE: ART THERAPY

Marianne Adams has over 25 years clinical experience as an Art Therapist both in the UK and in Ireland.  She worked in a CAMHS setting for 7 years and as well as being part of the lecturing team on the MA in Art Therapy she has a private practice in West Cork taking referrals from Tusla, the local CAMHS, and the Child and Family Psychology Department.  She is also part of a pilot scheme seeing children affected by domestic violence funded by West Cork Women Against Violence.  Marianne has published in the IACAT journal, as well as representing Ireland in the book ‘Multicultural Family Art Therapy’.  Her Art Therapy practice is underpinned by an MA in Psychoanalytic studies.
