Crawford Supported Studio Project

Growing from a developing partnership with Crawford Gallery, CIT Crawford College of Art & Design, Department of Arts in Health & Education are proud to build on their relationship with the GASP and Cuig artists. The project provides a supported studio space for the artists twice a week with artist-facilitators Mairead O’Callaghan and Karolina Poplawska. Every Tuesday the artists are based in the Crawford Art Gallery and on Thursdays in CIT Crawford – Department of Arts in Health and Education.

The project provides an opportunity for ongoing development of their artwork and involvement with specific projects. Artists engage with students through facilitated workshops and with the public through exhibitions and meet the artist events. This project is supported by Cope Foundation and Cork City Council.
